About EngaGE
Acknowledging that courses in EKU’s General Education program often benefit from specialized instructional design, approaches, and logistical support, EngaGE brings centralized resources, opportunities, incentives, and recognitions to faculty through:
- Providing resources for creating innovative teaching and learning environments across the General Education elements;
- Providing resources for designing dynamic teaching and learning environments to best support student learners.
- Offering highly tailored, one-on-one consultations on General Education course planning and design;
- Coordinating faculty learning communities focused on topics of significance for General Education teaching and learning;
- Co-designing course content and dynamic learning environments;
- Supporting for faculty in the form of workshops, class observations, and opportunities to use the Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning space and resources to host General Education classes faculty are teaching or related events;
- Providing structure, resources, and support for faculty to reimagine General Education courses; and
- Recognizing faculty to showcase General Education teaching.
