The EngaGE Symposium welcomes faculty back for the fall 2022 semester. Through this three-part workshop, faculty will identify and discuss common barriers to student learning and success in General Education courses. Presenters will then introduce the super courses framework for teaching and learning. Finally, faculty will identify strategies for using the framework to overcome barriers in General Education courses. All participants will leave with an actionable set of strategies they can use this fall.

10:30am - 11:15am | Part II - Applying the Super Courses Framework to Overcome Barriers |
In small groups, faculty will generate approaches for applying the Super Courses framework to their GE classes to help students overcome barriers to success. Faculty use the concepts discussed in the presentation to brainstorm ways to overcome common barriers. All faculty leave with approaches for engaging students in learning. |
